Went to a wedding in California of Tim and Sunny Arakawa. Drove 25 hours each way to see the wedding. It was worth it. Awesome wedding. Very glad to see them married.

I have been busy with recruiting for Ameriprise and glad to report brokers are moving. Looks like we will have another placement this month.

I am fascainted by world events and feel that we are moving into a new era with the Presidential race coming up soon. 2008 has been a tough year for the world but I feel things are moving in the right direction now. Energy prices have been a concern and consumer confidence is key which is mostly impacted by the housing market.

Went up to my hometown church over the weekend. Always good to be home. April is off to college today and it will interesting to see how college is for her.

Things are constantly changing and we are living in exciting times.

Hope all is well.

Monthly update: $53 bucks. That's how much it took to fill up my gas tank this weekend. Man is gas expensive. I have never paid that. $20 bucks to fill up was fine. No big deal. Now filling up for over $50 is ridiculous.

Recruiting is going good. The Wall Street recruiting is picking up and have recently focused on recruiting for Ameriprise only. Hadn't made any placements in a long time. Once I started recruiting for them only. Things have changed. I have three brokers starting to work for them over the next month. Still want to trade the QQQQs again and get into Foreign trade but don't have the startup money for that.

Wild weekend to say the least. Went cruising with the neighbors and got pulled over not once but twice for various reasons. Brake light was out and basically got pulled over because all my friends looked ghetto and freaked them out. I'm thinking of moving to upstate New York for a few months. Have a friend who will let me live rent free up there.

And I got a dog..........and named him Goldie. Looking forward to April's graduation this weekend and seeing the family. That's the latest.

Got the Adventist Review today and was very interested with the title of the front page. It is "Balancing Ends and Means" (A way for left and right to work together).

On social issues, the pope made a visit to America last week and remembered the 9/11 victims and had a mass at Yankee stadium. I watched the mass he had at Saint Patrick's in New York City. Very moving. The reason why the Pope is coming to America. Is because we are in a crisis. With all the outrageous things going on in the world, with human abuse, poverty, sickness, and human rights being abused. It's those type of things that cause religions to take action. And I am not surprised the pope took action. Those things are going to cause the National Sunday Law.

On the work front. I'm getting into the import/export business. I find learning other cultures fascinating and very interested to learn more. Miss trading the stock market badly but don't have the money right now. Still doing recruiting and made a Physician Part time Family Practice placement out in California.

That's the update.

Joined a hockey league at the local church and scored my first goal in eons. Good to be playing hockey again.

In the great Presidential Race it is John McCain that is the lone survivor in the Republican party. All the others have offically dropped out now. So that is settled. There's a good chance that a Democrat may win this year. I feel that the Republican field was pretty weak this year and that this may be the year we get a Democrat. Not too excited about that because taxes would go up to support all the goverment programs they want.

I was just reading some blogs. And congrats to Tim and Sunny for getting engaged. That is awesome. Is there a better couple than that? Let me know. All the best to you.

Work is frustrating to say the least. Election, Super Bowl, and what not. Proud to say I voted and I cast my vote to Mike Huckabee who won the Republican primary for Tennessee but I think it's fair to say that John McCain is going to win the Republican nomination.

Shocking upset in the Super Bowl. The Giants and Eli Manning beat the unbeaten Patriots which was very sweet. Manning brothers back to back super bowls. It doesn't get much better than that.

I have been a little more involved in church locally. And have been a life long Seventh-Day Adventist. My biggest question for the church and for everybody in general. What are you trying to accomplish? Are you trying to build people up and look for the good in people. Or are you looking for negatives and reasons to tear people down? It's so easy to look for the negatives in people. And frankly people that do that are just plain losers. As I get my membership transferred to another church. I will be very interested to see which camp this church falls into. Hopefully it's not another self righteousness church that looks for the negatives in people. But nothing surprises me anymore.

Working really hard. Hopefully it pays off some day. Hope all is going well.

Happy New Year! This year is a big year for many reasons. One of the most important things this year is the election. Which will decide the course are great nation takes over the next few years and will affect all of us. The day that will likely decide each parties nominees is February 5. Super Tuesday. Here are the current nationwide polls. Huckabee is the surprise person in the Republican campaign and the press loves Obama in the Democratic party. While McCain and Clinton are the favorites. My boy Thompson is hanging in there. I feel he has done good in being specific on issues in recent debates.

Republican Presidential Nomination
McCain27.6%
Huckabee20.6%
Giuliani14.6%
Romney12.8%
Thompson9.2%
Paul3.8%
Democratic Presidential Nomination
Clinton41.2%
Obama33.8%
Edwards13.2%

In sports the Titans where short lived in the NFL playoffs. I would be shocked if the New England Patriots don't win the Super Bowl. They are a machine that is pretty much flawless as far as I can see. Haven't lost a game yet this year. Only the second team to ever do that. The last team to do that was the Miami Dolphins back in 1972.

On a personal note. I am working like a dog to just get by. Working like three jobs. Mainly recruiting- Wall Street Recruiter, Physcian Recruiter, and Independent contracter for Alliance One.

Should be an interesting year.......... Not only do I recruit stockbrokers in the morning but have recently gotten into Physician Placements as well. The stock market bombed for me this year. So being a trader is over. Working in Real Estate hasn't worked out either. So it's full time recruiting. I'm good on the phones so I'm thankful for that.

I'm living in a pretty nice brick house in South Nashville but paying rent so I'm hoping to move out sooner or later into a house where my monthly rent is going towards paying a house off.

The presidential race is starting to heat up. So that should be pretty interesting over the next year. I'm pulling for Fred Thompson. Republican Party is going to be a tight race I believe. I think Hillary Clinton will win the Democratic Nomination. Can you believe Oil is at 100? Is 300 a possiblity? Paying for Gas is becoming a big problem. It runs about $30-$40 bucks every time. Not good. If Oil keeps going up that is going to kill the economy.

I hope all is well.

The month of August was awesome because Norman got married. So we are on are 7th car of the year now. You may ask what are you driving these days buddy. Well the answer is nothing. I'm stranded. I have no car. I probably will get another car in a few weeks. Cause you kinda need one in this day and age but I'm pretty fed up with cars. (Getting one from a car dealer with a warranty for sure.)

As the months roll on. It's been one disaster after another and I honestly don't know when it's going to stop. Good thing is I have a pretty nice living conditions now and very thankful for that. Way better than the dump I was in before.

On the career front. Back on the phones and it hasn't been so bad. It's kinda of nice getting a check every month from New York. Recruiting for UBS. Hopefully things go well. Out of the stock market and trading for now. I am trying to find a backer so I can trade again. Not trading my own money anymore. I hope to get back eventually. I'm adding Real Estate License to my credentials this summer. I want to get more involved in real estate and should be done studying in a few months for that. I found a place where I can park my license once I get it. I've been looking for property for a real estate company and want to get paid on the front end for finding property for them. They suppossedly are going to share profits on the resale.

Brother Norm is getting married next week which is huge. Looking forward to it. Hope all is well.

I don't know if any of you have not had access to the internet for any period of time but if you've gone through that. It's like not having electricity or water or some other essential thing. At least that's the way it is for me.

I just moved into a 2 bedroom house from an apartment. And it's been a pretty smooth transition except for the fact that I can't get the internet installed in any kind of timely fashion. I should have it by Friday. That's not real good when the internet is the primary way you communicate and work. But at least I'll have it eventually.

The car of the month is a 1999 Dodge Intrepid. This baby has 131,000 miles on it. Just got it registered today. Let's see how far this one lasts for. 5th car of the year. If this one doesn't work out. I think it's time to look for a new car and time to make car payments. That's the latest. The stock market was not kind to me in the month of May. My system ended up working by the end of the month. But I didn't have enough protection in the beginning of the month to keep trading. So I lost money in May. I have enough protection for June so I should be ok.

I have not made consistent money for a while so I am back on the phones starting tommorrow. Recruiting Stock brokers. I did this before for about a year. The recruiting firm pays me a base salary and I can keep doing my real interests after calling every day and I can still trade so it's a pretty good situation. I don't enjoy calling. Who does but I guess this is what I have to do for now. Real Estate I am focusing locally and having success. We shall see how it goes.

I am also looking to move out of my dumpy apartment in Antioch. I didn't think I would be here this long. It's almost two years now. And I really want normal living conditions. I went to an open house today of a pretty nice brick home in the same area of South Nashville.

The '89 Audi I bought a couple of months ago broke down a couple of days ago. And I am going to end up getting another car because that car is a total lemon. Folks that makes 3 cars in a half a year. Glad to report that I made money in the stock market in April.

April has been out of control. I have seen all sorts of crazy stuff. It is amazing how big a part the internet is playing in are everyday lifes. There are websites now we're you can sign up to be in a second life where there is virtural money and you can live a life online. There are actually people who making a living out of selling stuff in second life stores. You can create a character called an avator. And than buy a house and live an communicate with others in this world. The revenues coming in for this are quite astounding. There was 1 million dollars spent in this secondlife.com world in the last 24 hours.

The reason I am telling you this is because I have an account on myspace. And anyone involved in myspace knows how much of an impact it can have on you. You meet all sorts of people on there.

If there are any beautiful women reading this. This section is dedicated to you. First off. If your married. I'm not interested. I have no interest in disturbing a marriage and I don't need any favors. Well maybe some. And if you've had a boyfriend for a zillion years and your just playing games. Get lost. If you really like me. E-mail me. Pretty simple.

Anyone that knows me very well. Knows that it's not a very good idea to mess with me. And if you haven't figured that out yet. God help you.

Pretty frustated with work. Nothing really great happening. Unfournately not very enjoyable. I'm not sure what to make of everything at this point. Every month this year gets more absurd than the previous. My grandpa Dittes passed away at the age of 94. He was a legend in the small town of Portland where I grew up. He was a doctor for 50 years. Worked until he was 80 plus years old. And loved every minute of it. Very content with his life. He provided a lot of stability to the family and will be missed.

We moved his wife today to an assisted living center which is $1500 a month instead of $4000 a month at the nursing home. Paying for nursing care is expensive. We had the whole family out there helping out. It turned out to be not so bad.

Went up to Bowling Green yesterday to a SDA Church in the South Central Conference. It was community day for them and I got invited to play in the musical program. They know how to wake you up there. I played the piano in a big musical program. A lot of fun. They had a killer choir there. Makes me want to go visit again.

My career may take off. It depends on whether this big investor follows through on a big investment he is planning to make into my stock market system. I'll keep you updated. What a month February was. First of all my brother Norman is getting married! You can see the video about it at nmcnulty.blogspot.com. They make a great couple and complement each other real well. Really happy for them. They are getting married August 12 at Andrews University.

The market is rocking and rolling again. Made money finally after being shut out for a while. Although one of bosses got busted for insider trading. That being David Glass. Apparently he was getting tips from an Analyst before the analyst gave upgrades. Him and about 8 other people got busted last week. And so we are going through a lot of transistion setting up new accounts because he owned the LLC I was in before.

The virtual world of myspace is really pretty incredible. I mean it's amazing the stuff that goes on. Little did I know what I was getting into when I signed up. I'm getting to know a lot of people which is cool.

Got a new car this month. Driving an '89 Audi these days. Pretty nice ride. It's kind of nice to report that things are going okay. January was absoutely crazy. It seemed like everything was happening at once with work and other stuff. I had a car plague in January also. I went through a couple of cars. My Dodge Avenger overheated and apparently I cooked the motor. I'm waiting to hear if they can fix it for a decent price and I borrowed another car and that broke down and I had to get that fixed. Not a smooth month at all.

Had a ball watching the Super Bowl with the cousins. They are absoutely hysterical. And the good guys won also!

Keeping it kind of short this month. Hope all is well in your world. :)

Happy New Year everyone! I think 2006 can be best summed up as the crash and burn year. Who knows maybe 2007 will also be. :) No telling.

The markets have not been good to me and I am cutting back on trading and spending more time in real estate. Disastrous week. Choppy trading and no trends in the market have killed it. Good thing about the new jobs versus the market is that you can only make money and not lose money. I haven't given up on the market but I'm cutting back big time. Pretty much if I make a bunch of money in real estate. I might throw some money at the market and see if I get any back. Kinda of disappointing but that's the way it is for now.

As far as dating goes. Some people just don't get it. Sometimes no means no and yes means yes. It's as simple as that. I don't mind being friends but come on already. God forbid you don't suck up to them or do what they want. I don't know what else to say about that. But it can be frustrating when people don't get it. I'm not speaking to the masses here I'm just speaking about one particular case.

As far as blogging goes. Is there any better blog than my cousin JD has? He has a sweet video from u2 he just put up. http://jdittes.blogspot.com Another good blog is by my friend Dave Leonard. Real good blog about politics. http://www.myspace.com/buddhaontheright

I hope all had a good holidays. What are the odds of two people from different cultures getting together. Are the odds better or worse than if you marry within your own ethnic group? That is something that I have thought about. And continues to come up as I'm dating. Just recently a relationship with a Mexican girl was mutually agreed upon on that it wasn't going to work out. But if it had would it have been harder or easier. I pretty much think it's better to stick within your own ethnic group. But I have a good friend who's white who married a African American girl. And they have a beautiful baby and are very happy. So I know it's possible. Anyways, a mid month update. About something that I've been thinking about. Hoping for a good Holidays.

Happy Holidays! Heading down to Southern Adventist University next week to see one of my college friends Mike Zeiss graduate. Getting his MBA. I recently made a cool Mexicana friend. She's pretty funny. Hung out a few times or as she likes to say it. We went on some DATES!

Markets have been good but I haven't been able to capitalize for various reasons. Not being disciplined one month and not following the system I developed another time. Actually both times. I'll get it right eventually. I kinda of have to. I also have gotten into Foreclosures and Commercial Real Estate recently pretty interesting stuff.

How fortunes can turn on a dime. The Tennessee Titans have turned the corner. 5-7 now. Thanks to a 60 yard field goal at the buzzer last week. And to think they couldn't win a game at the beginning. Vince Young is like watching Steve McNair all over again. When Steve McNair went to the dark side and joined Baltimore and than came back and played Tennessee it made for a real good game. McNair and Baltimore won by 1 point.

President Bush is really doing some back pedaling now. Saying "it's bad in iraq". Ah, if we could just find a solution that would make everyone happy. That's going to be tough. I think he had the right idea when they got Hussein out and changed the way things were run. But the exit strategy is a disaster.

One good thing Bush has done was get Ben Bernacke as the replacement for Alan Greenspan. Bernacke has to be voted Rookie of the year for Fed Chairmans. The economy is growing, stock market is going up, and they have done a pretty good job with inflation except for gas prices. :)

Happy Holidays!

The Power of the Human Mind
The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid, aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it dseno't mtaetr in waht oerdr the ltteres in a wrod are, the olny iproamtnt tihng is taht the frsit and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it whotuit a pboerlm. The Saint Louis Cardinals are the 2006 World Series Champions! Waiting 24 years for that. Many people never see there favorite team win in their lifetime. So that was pretty cool.

Last weekend was good because Cousin JD organized a great family get together. About 20 people all together. It was great to see everyone. Julie and Donnie and their families. And all of the aunts and uncles on the Dittes side. It was really good to catch up with an early Thanksgiving dinner.

On the political front Secretary Don Rumsfield resigning and the Democrats having a winning election shows how well the War in Iraq is going.

I am now trading Gold and the Nasdaq in the stock market. I am a big sports fan as many of you know. And this is a good time of year for sports. With baseball playoffs starting this week(Go Cardinals!), Hockey in a couple of weeks, and football season going strong. On a local note the Tennessee Titans are AWLFUL!!!!!!!! They have a chance to lose every single football game. They are already 0-4. I think they could go 0-16. Lose every single game. I can't say one good thing about them.

On a spirtual note. Things have been more peaceful. :) Unbelievable stuff that went on. Madison campus is a good local Nashville church. They have 4 very good pastors there with attendance being around 700-900 every week. And the sermons have been very good. I'm not planning to join but it's a good place.

I enjoy listening to sermons online during the week while I'm working. Randy Skeete on www.audioverse.org. has been really good. I am also checking out another California ministry recently in www.crosswalkministries.com. Also located in Loma Linda. One of the pastors there Samir called me this week. They have 1200 members now and 4 pastors. He was my pastor up in New York City when I lived there.

Last night Bob Woodard was on sixty minutes and I was reading about it on the internet today. It seems the attacks on Americans in Iraq are rising over time not decreasing. The americans are getting attacked 800 times a week. 4 times an hour. Good ole pototao salad and beans. Very good! :) Headed home in time to catch the firework show in Nashville. Suppossedly the third best show in the country. I had a sweet view from Antioch on a hill. There was the downtown show than a few others around me on the river further south from Nashville.

Congrats to Italy for winning the cup. There were on my list of favorites to win. Although France should of won it. They were the better team during the match. Zidane had a temporary moment of insanity and got himself kicked out. One of my sources of entertainment is listening to different sermons from around the country. And listening to Don McIntosh from www.audioverse.org was hillarious. The guy is a riot. The sermon "Back to Normal" was so funny. The guy apparently torched the whole church in a example gone bad something to do with a air spray can. Very funny. Recommend listening if you need a laugh. :)

I also saw last night that President Bush is going to do something about the border of Mexico. It is ridicolous all the foreigners coming in. Getting 5,000 national guard troops is going to help. Maybe they should build a wall like the wall of China. In Tennessee they have these whole Driver's license scandal were Mexicans are paying off Tennessee Driving workers to get Driver's licenses. A lot of under the table money is being made. And it's draining are schools and especially the hospitals that take in those uninsured foreigners. Let's put a stop to it.

Tennessee sports is doing good. Nashville Predators made a quick first round exit after looking good at the beginning. Losing the goalie Thomas Voukon for the season was the handwriting on the wall. The team that beat them San Jose Sharks are still playing and I think could win the whole thing. The Titans drafted really good. Getting Vince Young and Lindale White. The next Steve McNair and Eddie George maybe? It should be fun to watch.

Hope all is well. Peace out.

The phone calling is over. Yes. Thank you. No more cold calling. I am a full time trader now. Started this past week with a firm up in New York and they allow remote trading.

A Bellsouth girl came by my apartment trying to sell me on BellSouth. She said everyone was undercutting them on prices. And they were desperrrrrrrate to get back customers. Currently my plan is Vonage and Comcast. Vonage charges $25 for unlimited local and long distance calling. And Comcast has a pretty good package for everything. (internet & tv)Needless to say she couldn't top my current package. But one thing lead to another and the next thing you know we are in the apartment and we are having the time of our ......... okay, nothing happened. :) But it was a good talk anyways.

By the way. I work as a recruiter and a trader. I am hoping the trading part of the equation will work out since I am sick of cold calling. I basically call financial advisors all over the country asking them if they would be interested in making a change. It doesn't matter which firm they go to only that they make a move. Last year I made 30k recruiting and 2k trading although I only started trading again in the fall. This year I am switching trading firms and haven't been able to be involved in the markets since January so once again I am having to rely on the telephone. I should be able to trade again in a few weeks. I am excited about that because I feel like I have developed a good system in my time off from trading and will be able to do well once I am up and running again.

I just recently made a placement in Scottsdale, Arizona with Oppenheimer which is opening a new office there. The broker Bob Perry left Merrill Lynch and was doing about $150,000 a year in commissions which he gets paid about 40% of that $150,000 and Mother Merrill keeps the rest. You may think that is really good but in the cut throat world of Wall Street that production will not keep you at a firm. After 3 years you need to be doing at least $300,000 a year in production to keep a job in a wirehouse. The wirehouses are Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, UBS, Smith Barney, and Wachovia. And I call all of them. Hoping that they will jump around.

I am about to watch the Cardinals here. I think the Cardinals problem is that Tony LaRussa burns them out so they have nothing left by the post season. They lost a lot of key guys Matt Morris, Reggie Sanders, and Larry Walker. But Scott Rolen, Albert Puljos, and Jim Edmonds in the middle of the lineup is nothing to complain about. The big story in baseball is Barry Bonds and he even has his own reality show on ESPN every Tuesday night. I just read the book "Game of Shadows" and the evidence is so great about Bonds taking steriods that it leaves little doubt that he did it. His personal trainer was put in prision for being a steriod dealer and the trainer had a calendar that had the days he would give Bonds steriods. I enjoyed watching the reality show about Bary Bonds you got to see what he is like. It had him crying at the end of the show saying that he couldn't let his family and fans down just because of all the hatred. If he had been like this all of his career maybe the Anti-Bary Bonds campaign wouldn't be so brutal. I think it is going to be a race this year to see whether he will break one of the sacred records or the US Government shuts him down before he can do it. Play ball...............

Well, here is my blog.
